We’re the Team & Making a difference

Our goal is to present you with strictly the most qualified, dedicated and experienced personal support workers. To accomplish this, we are personally interviewing every single applicant to ensure that they have what it takes to be part of the In Our Care Team. Our goal is simply to find the perfect match for our clients and to provide the best possible level of care.

Our caregivers are working hard to create introductory videos, detailing their skills, personalities and experience. This will allow you to browse through potential candidates and make a selection based on personal preference.

If you would like to have a caregiver selected for you, we would be more than glad to help find a perfect match for your needs.

Meet Mr. Oliveira the owner and Regional Director In Our Care Home Care Services

Our Leadership

Our Vision , Philosophy, Business Development, Strategic Plans, Policies & Procedures are led by Mr. Victor Oliveira, owner and operator of In Our Care – Home Care Services. As the Regional Director for the company coupled with his extensive experience and passion for excellence in the Acute and Geriatric Care Sectors, he is also responsible for ensuring that care principles and strategic directives are visible in every performed task. As Mr. Oliveira advocates… “No task is minimal, if it benefits a senior or a family in need”.

Mr. Oliveira is an accomplished Healthcare Executive who vested over 30 years in the Healthcare Field, both in  an Acute Care Facility (5 years) and Geriatric Care Facility (25 years). He fully understands the industry and has committed most of his life to the care and wellbeing of people, particularly older seniors. A naturally calm, patient, and caring individual whose passion for care & excellence is his foremost objective. Understanding both the political and financial burdens faced by our Acute & Geriatric Care sectors, institution’s are faced with the ongoing challenges in caring for seniors and meeting care standards as set out by the Ministry of Health & Long Term Care. The current state of our Healthcare System is not self sustainable and an alternate means for caring for our vulnerable older seniors must be formed, implemented and sustained. Home Care Services is becoming a growing business in order to deal with the escalating aging population… but of course not all service providers are the same. Demand the best… and In Our Care – Home Care Services will rise to the challenge.

The core mandate of the Regional Director is to ensure that the care delivered at your door is top quality and uncompromised. His leadership is based on clear objectives and outcomes. He was nominated and awarded the Excellence in Leadership Award (nominated by his peers) in 2011. That means he understands the value of Team Members, gains their trust, their confidence, and clearly shares his vision in a manner that his team can support. In his current role he will directly oversee / review conducted home assessments, care and service recommendations, and the ultimate service level agreements. First and foremost he wants to understand your true needs, before any recommendations are made. His belief in trust and personal integrity is critically important and nurturing such qualities onto his Team Members is one his main objectives. When you lead by example with honesty & integrity, others naturally follow in the same path. After all, we’re caring for a vulnerable population and it’s our role and responsibility to value, respect and protect them.

We do not upsell services. We recommend only what you need and nothing more. We are so committed to serving the seniors in our communities that we want to manage their home services as well: electrical, water, roofing, gardening, paving, painting… all your home projects and upgrade needs. We will negotiate on your behalf oversee the start and finish of projects, ensuring that work is completed to agreed specifications and standard. Through this process our clients are not dealing with contractors directly, thus reducing their risk of being taken advantage of or being caught in any possible fraudulent transactions.

In Our Care is focused on being a different brand of Home Care Service provider… the times have changed, the needs have changed, circumstances have changed and the demand is greater. Now is not the time to maintain the status quo. Of course, old fashion reliability, honesty, compassion and affordability are still the corner stones of our foundation. We will be there when you need us the most… because those “In Our Care” are treated like family members.

Our Team Members

True leaders understand that leadership is just one component of a successful undertaking. The other component and perhaps the most important component of all is a strong, cohesive team that understand the processes, values & respects the qualities of each team member and that of their competition. That sets the stage for a winning team, in this case we’re not talking about games… we are talking about caring – but the characteristic traits are the same.

At In Our Care – Home Care Services, our team members are carefully screened; Minimal qualification are Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification, CPR certified, including police checks. Selected team members are Caring, Compassionate and Committed… because we understand the challenges you’re facing… the entrusting your care or the care of your loved one “In Our Care”.

The selection of our team members is a carefully process, not solely based on the required qualifications. Yes, qualifications are important, but more so are their personal character, ability to engagement, interact, and socialize with Family members and Clients alike. We believe this not only to be a well-rounded approach to team member selection, but to also build a team of individuals who understand what it means to truly care and the powerful affect it has on those individuals receiving such care.

Getting new clients is the easy part… sustaining current clients speaks to our capability to deliver on our promises.
