In Our Care – Home Care Services

We are an independently owned and operated Canadian company (not a franchise). We currently serve Clients in the GTA, Peel and Halton Regions through our office in Mississauga. We are privileged in the opportunity to extend our 25+ years of experience in the Geriatric and Long Term Care sector in order to serve you better. We understand the challenges facing today’s families who have assumed the loving responsibility as the primary caregiver for their elder loved one’s care. Respectively, more and more of these family caregivers are seniors themselves… caring for older seniors in the Community. Physical declines coupled with health and or cognitive impairment can make that caregiving process that much more challenging (for both the caregiver and recipient). We’ve been effectively supporting people just like you, keeping people at home longer, more effectively, affordably and safely. People want to retain their personal independence, safety, mental awareness, and social engagement – without ever having to leave their beloved home. Our commitment to you is a fair and honest assessment, recommend only what you need, qualified team members (Certified PSW’s or RPN’s with clean Police records), administrative support, flexible payment plans and a continuous improvement plan.

To enrich, enhance, engage and augment the lives of our elderly population, by allowing them to grow older with dignity and in the comfort of their homes & community. We also believe that personal care is only step one in the caring for your older loved one. Sustaining their environment in a clean and safe manner further enriches their overall well being. Therefore, when In Our Care is your personal care provider… we look after meal preparations, home cleaning, laundry and any other home needs our clients may have… all under the watchful eye of a certified PSW and the Executive Team. Now that’s a different approach to CLIENT FOCUSED CARE.

The purpose of In Our Care is to provide individualized quality care services that meet the total needs of our clients, whose care can be safely and effectively delivered and managed in their home environment. These needs, whether physical, emotional, social, or spiritual will be provided through the coordinated efforts of dedicated and committed team members.

In Our Care believes in ministering to the diverse needs of our clients regardless of physical, psychological, spiritual, and economic realities; provided that the client will respond better if these needs are met in the comfort of their own home rather than in an institution.

In Our Care goals and services are based on two fundamental philosophical principles:

The belief in the innate worth of the aged and individuals with needs
The belief that each person is an individual and is entitled to continue to maximize their abilities as a member of society.

Our aging process is a normal state in our development; regardless if we age with chronic challenging conditions. In Our Care is dedicated to caring for the aged and individuals with needs, so they may stay at home and continue to maximize their contributions and fulfill their goals as family members. As we are not pre-occupied with expansion, we can devote our efforts to ensuring that Clients continue their aging process in the comfort of their own homes and defer institutional care as the last resort. We will even oversee home repairs, maintenance, and or physical alterations/modifications to ensure that Client safety, independence and well-being are maintained.

Our team members are carefully selected, not simply based on required qualifications. Yes, qualifications are important, but more so are their personal character, ability to engagement, interact, and socialize with Family members and Clients alike. A well rounded approach to team members selection is a mutual benefit to all.
